llllllll

Oliver Twist... I think all young teenagers should read this so that they see the outcome of wrong-doing. Dickens excellently portrays the gap between good and evil in the intriguing story of a young pauper. Readers are encouraged to keep believing in the impossible, after all, it's only two letters away from being possible. Good fiction book, personally i won't be reading it at night anytime soon, i might wake to find myself in the cell with Fagin.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer... I've read this classic once or twice before, but the details were starting to fog in my memory so i thought a quick re-read would be beneficiary. It's an interesting but fairly short book filled to the last letter with the silly schemes of Tom. I'd recommend it for occasional light reading.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn... For as all young readers know, we can't have Tom without also mentioning the escapades of young Huck. Very intriguing book, anyone needing a laugh should invest in the time to follow the Mississippi River travelers. Kinda wish i would've lived in those days. Once i became accustomed to Huck's sensible ways, i found myself more annoyed at the foolishness of that young rascal Tom. I think i sense The Further Adventures of Huckleberry Finn coming up in my life soon.

In the general chance that you were wondering what my title stands for, i'm not writing about -l-. I thought the llllls slightly resembled books, all neatly stacked on a shelf.
Our generation has more resources, more ability, and more chances, to make a difference than any other generation before us. I firmly believe that with God, all things are possible. And if He is in us, why don't we change the world? One life at a time. I'm not asking one person to stop slave trafficking or global poverty, but, i am asking everyone, to show love and kindness, one step at a time, to the hurting people around us. Our church, our community, maybe our own home... they need to see Jesus. Matthew 5: 13-16 KJV

  1. I have been thinking of rereading Tom Swayer and Huck Fin for a long time. I think I shall do it soon, as soon as I can find the books free from Amazon to download on my Kindle.

  3. SO great that you are reading all these books! I NEED to get back into reading again... I love curling up on the couch with a good book! Your last paragraph is so true... we have so many things right at our finger tips... Let's take advantage of them and show people the Love of Christ, and Glorify our Father!!!
