read, read, read!

The Divine Romance... I Loved it. The end... I read it through in one evening; I liked it a lot so I re-read it over the next two weeks. I can't say that it stretched my imagination, but it rather just filled it.. If such a thing is possible. Definitely would recommend it.

At the Back of the North Wind... I liked this book. It was unusual enough to keep me very interested. I'm glad I have it. I'll be reading it again in the future.

Sense and Sensibility... Since Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorites I expected to like this classic just as well, and I wasn't disappointed. The range of emotions I felt while reading was not quite what I expected, but it seemed to balance out the characteristics of the heroes and heroines. In a way, that, when I was done, I didn't hate Willoughby, and I felt only pity for those unfortunate characters without any sense.

I'm in the process of reading a few others, Pride and Prejudice- Jane Eyre- and a book of short stories by Mark Twain. I'm planning to add either a Dickens or MacDonald book to that list shortly. Not sure yet which.
